2004 FEB 5 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Researchers at Rabin Medical Center and Se-cure Pharmaceuticals, Ltd., have received word their 12-month clinical study evaluating the efficacy and safety of dietary supplement Femarelle for menopausal symptoms has been accepted for publication.
This data - the fourth peer-reviewed report on this phyto-SERM published in 12 months - will appear in the Journal of Clinical & Experimental Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Recent peer-reviewed studies' highlights were published in 2003. The first study, in the July 2003 issue of the Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, 2003 86:93-98, looked at the mechanism of action of Femarelle, as well as the efficacy and safety of the product through creatine kinase activity, which is a marker for estrogenic activity.
