For car and truck of the year there was only one consensus: The Toyota Prius should take top honors. As for the rest, some just couldn't fathom the reasons why.
With the exception of maybe the Prius, it is clear the best didn't make the cut for car and truck of the year. The winners should be the Porsche 911 and the Volkswagen Touareg.

Car honors should go to the Toyota Prius for providing the advantage of superb fuel economy with a roomy interior and great performance to boot. Truck of the year goes to Nissan's Titan. It has class-leading performance, versatility, and is a home run right out of the box.
