There has been only one actor that I have ever thought highly enough of to write a letter to saying how much I enjoyed his work. That actor was Art Carney, who wrote a long, gracious letter in reply. So I was very pleasantly surprised to find John McManus' fine article about him ("This Sewer Sweeper Wore Blue") in your December 15 issue.
