Adultery is for women only.

Don't believe what other people say, especially those rambling feminists. Thai men have never committed adultery. They never tan. And that is official.

This fact came to light when the National Commission on Women's Affairs, the advocacy agency for women's rights, wanted to amend the divorce laws.

At present, the divorce law states: "If a husband financially supports or recognizes another woman as his wife, or if a wife commits adultery (mee choo in Thai), the partner can use this as grounds for divorce."

This double standard has been a source of suffering for many women who cannot free themselves from unfaithful relationships.
