It seems a bit incongruous that one of the preeminent automotive restoration shops in the country is hidden away in the small town of White Post, Virginia.
White Post Restorations started in 1940 with just two employees and a desire to rebuild the best. Every job, whether a top-tier car or not, is a complete restoration with an eye toward perfection.
Because White Post Restora-tions president Billy Thompson believes in "presenting the car as an extension of one's personality,'' he keeps a cadre of skilled technicians under his half acre of roof.
