Walsh Trott Chick Smith has hired the former D'Arcy client services director Daniel Taylor as its managing partner to head its new-business and client services operations.
Taylor has been working at the agency on a consultancy basis since he left Leo Burnett last year, after its merger with D'Arcy.
His appointment is designed to make up for the gap left by the departure of the founding partner Amanda Walsh, who quit the agency last March.
Walsh's departure was seen as a blow for the agency as she was its public face and the driving force behind its new-business efforts.
