Food grade film
ABL Perpack introduce the MEC 92 - a new food grade plastics film.
This material conforms to all the new EEC regulations regarding plastic films in contact with food products, it is equally an exceptional industrial film. Another major feature is the lack of irritant vapours given off during the sealing cycle thus preventing corrosion.
ABL have set up a machinery division allowing them to offer a full package from plant to film (including leasing).

Automatic L-sealing machine
ADPACK have a new range of fully automatic L-sealing machines. They fully comply with EEC standards regarding electrics, guarding, etc and operate from a single-phase 13 A supply. Operating at speeds of 20 - 30 packs per minute, the EFK range complements Adpak's range of manually operated L-sealing systems, which were also demonstrated throughout the exhibition. In addition Adpak produce semi- and fully-automatic sleeve sealing systems for tough transit packs in polythene shrink films.
