NIH begins human Ebola vaccine trial using Biojector 2000.
2004 JAN 7 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- Bioject Medical Technologies, Inc., (BJCT), a developer of needle-free drug delivery systems, announced that the Vaccine Research Center (VRC) at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), part of the U.S. National Institutes of Health, recently began its first human trial of a vaccine to prevent Ebola infection utilizing the Biojector 2000 (B-2000).
The B-2000 is a needle-free injection system that is powered by a compressed gas system and is the only device being utilized in the study.
