Developed for Shown Lane by his long-time manager Scott Quinn, the Cable Q2 is available in 10-foot ($99 retail/$59 street) and 20-foot ($110/$69 street) lengths. Like many "directional" high-end cables, the Q2 features two conductors plus a shield that's only attached at the amplifier end. The Q2's two oxygen-free stranded-coilper conductors and the foil shield's stranded-copper drain wire are attached to Switchcraft plugs with hi-fi-grade silver bearing solder. The Q2 cables are also treated with a proprietary burn-in process that, according to Scott Quinn, "Permanently changes the cable's molecular domains."
