Kazakh crude exports by pipeline reached 2.43mn t (571,000 b/d) in October, compared with 2.16mn t in September. The rise has been caused by the return of exports through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) route to earlier levels after completion of maintenance at the Tengiz field. In October, CPC shipped 1.17mn t of oil, mostly Tengiz crude, up from 968,000t in September. Lukoil and Sibneft shipped 230,000t to Kazakhstan through the Omsk-Pavlodar pipeline last month, a 70,000t reduction on September. Most of these shipments were by Sibneft.
