By now you've surely noticed that C&D Recycler magazine has undergone a fairly dramatic change. We've changed our name to Construction & Demolition Recycling magazine and done a complete graphic redesign. These changes are important, but they are really driven by the more dramatic change we have made to the magazine, expanding our editorial mission.
Since its founding in March 1999, this magazine has been focused on the recycling of demolition debris and construction materials that are discarded during the tearing down and building up of industrial and residential buildings and infrastructure. That will not change; we'll continue to provide valuable, in-depth coverage of this essential business activity. However, the business of construction and demolition work continues to evolve, with more and more recycling integrated into the jobsite. Our expanded coverage will dig into this important part of the industry.
We'll also expand our coverage of the demolition industry, focusing on the business needs of contractors in the market. Business today is more competitive everywhere. Understanding how to make your operation as competitive as possible is essential to winning the bid. Our expanded coverage will focus on this important area of business--managing for profit and competitiveness.
