BRITNEY SPEARS IN THE ZONE (JIVE) For a majoe album released in three weeks' time, the profile of Britney Spears' fourth album In The Zone has, to date, been surprisingly low.

But that situation is all about to change thanks to the artist's UK promotional visit, which began at the weekend math a live appearance on CD:UK. "It's a little late coming, but the profile will really take off when she arrives in the country," says live Records marketing manager Hans Griffiths.

Among the key publicity, generating dates in the Spears diary in the coming weeks are an appearance at London's G.A.Y. club on November 8. It will be further boosted by speculation of Spears being joined onstage by Madonna (who features on the albums lead single Me Against The Music). Key TVs include Graham Norton and a CD:UK special on December 8.
