The Quest is smooth even on rough roads and it hustles around corners without any drama. It brakes well, but it isn't as responsive as our Mitsubishi Montero was. After embarking on a long road trip with the Quest loaded up, it was very sure-footed and stable. The Quest stands apart inside and out, and the foldaway second row is a welcome feature. The only downside is you can't completely close the air vents.

I like the nontraditional look, because after driving minivans for nine years I couldn't take the boring image anymore. The SkyView roof makes the interior more comfortable and the kids adore the rear-seat DVD even when the Quest is parked in the driveway. The power from the V6 is intense and I sometimes catch myself going way too fast. The Bose stereo is not the best I've heard and the engine isn't as refined as my Honda Odyssey's. Also, the automatic doors don't open when you just pull the handle, like the Odyssey's. You must physically pull the door a few inches to engage the auto feature.
