Court takes up covert arrests
The Supreme Court will decide if federal agents can sneak into foreign countries to nab and bring back suspects for trial. The Bush administration says a lower court ruling would block snatching Osama bin Laden. The court also agreed to clarify past rulings on sexual harassment and the death penalty. It won't hear a California case claiming the Constitution guarantees individual gun rights. A panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said the Constitution protects only militias' gun rights.
