A judge threatened to hold Nevada's high school sports regulators in contempt of court Thursday if they delayed Cheyenne High School's Saturday title football game.
Because of the warning from District Judge Jackie Glass, officials with the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association and the Clark County School District dropped their plans to delay the Sunset Region championship between Cheyenne and Palo Verde High School.
