Many young Southern Nevadans have been recognized for their various accomplishments. Here is a list of some of them.

Pairs figure skaters Zack Sidhu, a sixth-grader at Leavitt Middle School, and Arielle Trujillo, a seventh-grader at Knudson Middle School, placed first in the juvenile pairs division at the Southwest Pacific Regional Championships Oct. 9-12 in Anaheim, Calif. They will compete in the same category at the 2004 U.S. Junior Figure Skating Championships Dec. 2-6 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
