Aaron Rents, the nation's largest furniture rental chain, announced the acquisition of three new furniture rental stores in the Southeast from McGregor Enterprises Inc., and the opening of two Rent-To-Own stores. Theragenics Corp. received approval from Health and Welfare Canada to market Therasphere, a non-surgical treatment for cancer of the liver to medical facilities throughout the Dominion. Dun & Bradstreet Software announced the restructuring of its domestic and international field organizations into three regions; the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. AT&T Universal Card Corp. announced plans to open a remittance processing center in Columbus, bringing to the west Georgia city 150 jobs with an annual payroll of $3.5 million. Fuqua Industries Inc. announced the consolidation of its Snapper Power Equipment division into its existing McDonough manufacturing facility. The plant will be expanded and reorganized to accommodate the additional work load. Fuqua expects to save $10 million annually by the closure of the two plants in Fort Worth, Texas, and Beatrice, Neb., which currently serve the division. National Australia Bank plans to close its local center by the end of the month.
