The variety of responses to our question of what is the top supercar-Porsche Carrera GT, Ferrari Enzo or Lamborghini Murcielago-proves that in the half-million-dollar class, there is no wrong answer.

The GT is the first supercar to come along since the McLaren F1 to capture my imagination. It has style (which precious few have had, including the Bugatti), power, speed and clout that is second to none.

I'd definitely take the Carrera GT over the others. You don't need a mechanic on retainer with a Porsche, and if you do need service, there's a dealer in most major cities.
