Agency joins list of state offices interested in the space

Maryland's economic development agency is the latest to take a swing at moving into warehouse space adjacent to the Camden Yards baseball stadium, state officials said last week.

J. Randall Evans, secretary of the Department of Economic and Employment Development, has toured the former B&O warehouse, and is considering moving his agency into the space next spring after it is renovated.

With the announcement, the agency joins a growing list of state offices interested in the warehouse facility, which shadows the stadium's right-field wall and a new light-rail station.
