NASCAR founder Bill France also had an interest in sports cars. When the Daytona Speedway opened in 1959, France created the infield road course for sports car racing there. This tome provides good photos, a driver index and race results.

Sparke, teacher at the Royal College of Art and dean of the Faculty of Design at Kingston College in London, presents a history of the auto from a design perspective. Photos of the designers' road-going creations are wonderful.
