Each school year, the Review-Journal invites high school students to serve as correspondents for the Youth Spotlight column. They submit information concerning school activities and the achievements of their classmates.

This year's correspondents are:

Sydney Alford, a junior at Foothill High School, enjoys dancing, writing, the Girl Scouts and her church youth group. Her school activities include journalism, publications/photo staff, broadcast journalism and Students Against Drunk Driving. She would like to pursue a career as a news broadcast anchor or reporter.

Jenna Arballo, a senior at Sierra Vista High School, enjoys reading and cooking. Her school activities include journalism and publications, and she would like to pursue a career as a copy editor.

Chelsea Bailey, a senior at Eldorado High School, enjoys playing sports and performing music. Her school activities include softball,…
