SAN DIEGO -- San Diego County public health officer Dr. Nancy Bowen said the investigation into the E. coli, 0157:H7 contamination that traced the bacteria to lettuce used at several PAT & OSCAR'S restaurants has widened to include two San Diego public school districts. Bowen said one school district was being investigated because it used the same lettuce packer as Pat & Oscar's, the 21-unit chain that is owned by Sizzler parent Worldwide Restaurant Concepts, based in Los Angeles.
