Katz firm paid $1,500 tax bill after Pa. sued
For more than two years, Public Financial Management Inc. -- the consulting firm of which mayoral hopeful Sam Katz is co-chief executive officer -- was being sued for about $1,500 in overdue state taxes.
The case was settled last Nov. 20, one day after Katz formally announced his bid for the Republican nomination for mayor, with the taxes paid, along with interest and penalty charges.
