U.T. Med Center ready to unveil second campus tower
The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is planning to propose to the system's board of regents construction of a second tower on the Dallas medical school's new North Campus.
Already part of the six-tower biomedical research complex master plan, U.T. Southwestern officials will take their proposal for the second tower to the University of Texas Board of Regents at their June meeting. Bob Youde, director of planning and institutional studies at U.T. Southwestern, could not provide details on the project, but sources say the building will total more than 400,000 square feet.
