Frankfurt has given us a taste of our motoring future. What's hot and what's not? Again readers show America is ready and waiting for Alfa Romeo.

I was enraptured by the Alfa 8C. No car shape in the last 20 years has had that kind of effect on me and I'm a British car nut, not Italian. Alfa, build it and I'll find a way to buy it.

Jamie Palmer, Raleigh, N.C.

The fantastisch is the Alfa 8C Competizione. It is absolutely gorgeous. The schrecklich is the Toyota CS&S. Watching one come toward you would make a person cross-eyed.

Jim Rowe, San Dimas, Calif.

My Frankfurt favorites are the Alfa 8C GT coupe, Aston Martin DB9 and Nissan Dunehawk. The Mercedes Vision CLS and Jaguar R-D6 both need exterior refinement.

David Lee, Glendale, Calif.
