The S&P 500 rallied 0.4% and the Dow 0.2% Monday. Volume fell sharply.

Russian wireless telecom firms continued to dominate. Mobile TeleSystems made its fourth straight gain on above-average volume, this time rising 3.58 to a new high of 87.08.
