Historic Neely Ranch goes upfor auction.

Charles and Susan Neely are selling their historic 47,292-acre ranch.

Neely Ranch in southwestern New Mexico will be auctioned May 17 at 2 p.m. by the National Auction Group Inc., the country's largest seller of private "trophy" or one-of-a-kind real estate properties.

"Neely Ranch is a truly special property in a truly spectacular desert setting, said William Bone, president of National Auction Group.

The ranch is in the foothills of the Gila Wilderness near Virden, N.M., off Highway 92 and boasts world-class hunting, according to the auctioneer.
