4 So, you have a tough schedule? Tell that to Jason Li.
Let's put it this way: When Li earned his MBA degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School in August, it's safe to say he didn't travel far to celebrate.
To get his degree, every other weekend Li had to hop on a plane in Beijing for an 11-hour flight to San Francisco, spend full days Friday and Saturday in class, and then fly back to Beijing to go to work. He did this for 18 months. It's a 24-month marathon, but for the last six Li got to stay close to the San Francisco home of the two-year-old Wharton West Executive MBA program.
Li has a wife and two kids. "I got Saturday nights with them," said Li. "And sometimes they'd come to the school so we could be with each other a little longer."
Just before Li began the MBA program, he co-founded Silicon Valley-based Starwave Technologies Inc., a maker of broadband wireless products.
