The blue-collar workers ratified a contract that will give them pay increases of 7 percent to 18 percent over the next two years.

City Hall's blue-collar workers have ratified a contract giving them pay raises of 7 percent to 18 percent over the next two years.

The contract was approved Wednesday, 237 to 90.

Junior-level workers will get the largest raises to bring them into parity with more senior, higher-paid co-workers.

The union says only a few of City Hall's 1,400 blue-collar workers will see 18 percent raises. Many will get something in the range of 7 percent, with the remainder getting …
