SOCORRO -- Emily Archuleta has heard plenty about Shaun "Sagger" Wilkins, but before taking the witness stand in Wilkins' murder trial, she had never seen the man accused of killing her son.

Observers would have been hard put to guess that. As Archuleta entered the courtroom Thursday afternoon, she glanced at Wilkins but didn't glare or stare.

Once on the stand, she testified that she had once heard her son Ben Anaya Jr. arguing with his younger brother, Bruce Anaya, about Wilkins.

She said Ben Anaya was upset because his younger brother had been hanging out with Wilkins, and Ben Anaya didn't want that.

Wilkins, 20, of Albuquerque, is one of four men arrested for the murders of Ben Anaya Jr. and three others in a Manzano Mountains cabin in December 1995. …
