A discussion about a proposed Wal-Mart store in Tijeras originally scheduled for tonight's Tijeras Planning and Zoning Commission meeting has been postponed until a traffic study for the project is completed, officials said today.
The traffic study is expected to be finished next week, said project manager Rick Rohlfing at Buescher Frankenberg Associates Inc., a Missouri-based consulting engineering firm that's designing the proposed 155,000-square-foot Wal-Mart superstore in Tijeras. Wal-Mart hired Transcorp, an Albuquerque consulting firm, to conduct the traffic study.
