Both Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer are siding with the Professional Golf Association against Nike player Casey Martin, who has taken the PGA to court over whether he should be allowed to ride a cart.

Martin says he needs a cart to play an 18-hole round competitively without the debilitating pain and swelling associated with a congenital circulatory disorder in his right leg.

Nicklaus has agreed to give the PGA a deposition to support its case. Palmer already has been deposed, Cox News Service reported.
