SANTA FE -- For perhaps the first time ever, three of the disparate sides in the battle to deregulate New Mexico's electric industry have agreed on something.
It is this: Public Service Company of New Mexico, New Mexico Electric Switch and New Mexico Industrial Energy Consumers all like the electricity deregulation bill introduced Friday in the Legislature by Sen. Michael Sanchez, a Democrat from Belen.
And they all believe it has a good chance of making it into law.
