Taking a year off between high school and college, I've found, really isn't a year off at all.
Stuff happens, one way or another. And it seems to happen more often when you aren't trapped in a classroom six hours a day.
If nothing else, this time away from school has taught me two things:
1. The phone company will threaten to disconnect your line with very little provocation, but it takes them awhile to actually follow through.
2. Everything you suspect about algebra being worthless especially the part about graphing parabolic equations is completely and utterly true.
