Kelly Brewer appointed managing editor of The Tribune.(Local News)

Kelly Gibbs Brewer, a 12-year employee of The Tribune and an assistant managing editor since 1995, has been named the newspaper's new managing editor.
Her promotion was announced today by Editor Scott Ware. She will succeed Terri Burke, who on Wednesday was appointed editor of the Abilene Reporter-News.
The changes at the two newspapers, both owned by The E.W. Scripps Company, are effective Nov. 8.
