Calling a girl a nasty name may have been what provoked a shooting in the Northeast Heights last weekend that killed one man and wounded another.

Rodrigo Castillo Dominguez, 26, and Charles Isaac McClaugherty, 18, are being held without bond in City-County Jail after both were arrested Monday night in connection with the killing early Saturday.

Both were expected to be arraigned today on charges of murder, tampering with evidence, conspiracy, aggravated battery and shooting at or from a vehicle.
