An 18-year-old girl is dead after a head-on collision in the Southeast Heights that police believe to have been alcohol-related.

The crash happened just before midnight Monday in the 3800 block of University Boulevard Southeast when a car heading south on University veered into the northbound lanes, colliding with a van head-on, an Albuquerque police report states.
