Keeping up with John Fields on a golf course is a lot like trying to follow a hummingbird from flower to flower take your eyes away for even a second and you're likely to lose him.

Fields, the former men's golf coach at the University of New Mexico now in his third season at the University of Texas, was back in familiar territory Friday during the first and second rounds of the William H. Tucker Invitational, flitting from hole to hole following his Longhorns.
