If this story of the La Cueva Bears Bunch sounds a little bit like the Brady Bunch, that's OK.

This really is the story of a family more than it is a story about a pretty good girls basketball team that happens to be 21-1 and one win away from a District 2AAAA tournament championship.

"I think we have come to understand that cliques and selfishness only hurt a team," junior Michelle Henke said. "There are no animosities, no jealousies. I want to work hard for my teammates, and they want to work hard for me. These are the best friends I have."
