Four years ago she was a basketball klutz.Today, Manzano's Fanoy Walters can't get in enough gym time.
At first it wasn't easy to drag Fanoy Walters onto a basketball court, but now it's even harder to yank her off of one.
Feeling ill earlier this week, Walters missed school, curled up in bed. But she had no intentions of hiding under the covers the entire day.
Basketball practice for Manzano's girls team began at 3 o'clock. And she was going to be there, even if she had to drag herself out of bed, sniffling and sneezing.
