Two school board members are demanding that the anonymous donors who offered Superintendent Brad Allison a $10,000 annuity identify themselves to the public.
Aggie Lopez and Dolores Herrera want to know whether the donors do business with Albuquerque Public Schools.
The two expressed concern Wednesday that should Allison accept the gift, it would violate board policy if the donors have business relationships with APS.
"Employees are prohibited from requesting or receiving and accepting a gift or loan for themselves or another that tends to influence them, or appears to influence them, in the discharge of their duties as employees," a board policy reads.
