GRANTS An office manager for a crew with the state highway department's Gallup office is being honored as a Highway and Transportation Department "highway hero" for helping a stricken motorist.
Danielle Collom was driving on I-40 near Milan, on her way back to the office May 12, when she noticed a man in the opposite lane trying to flag down traffic near a vehicle whose driver was hunched over the wheel.
