Two armed robbers struck Albuquerque banks within an hour of each other Tuesday.

The first robbery occurred at the First Security Bank branch at 2101 Eubank Blvd. N.E. at 10:45 a.m., when the robber, wearing a bandana and sunglasses, shoved a customer aside and pointed a black revolver at the teller, FBI agent Doug Beldon said.

As the 5-foot-8, 140-pound robber ran through a parking lot, a red dye pack exploded in his black bag, marking the bills, Beldon said.
