Ben Montoya told a gathering of Hispanic business owners that he dreams of a time when laws addressing affirmative action, hate crimes and equal pay for equal work won't be needed.
"Our country's fundamental goodness and conscience strives to correct things so the future will be better," said the former president and CEO of Public Service Company of New Mexico. "But when is enough enough? When is help debilitating? It perpetuates artificial means to make us what we naturally are as Americans."
