As you start to flip through the page's of tiffs issue, you'll see that the magazine is organized quite a bit differently. All of our columns and articles are grouped in special sections to make it easier for you not only to read the magazine but also to find what you're looking for.
Cosmo had the same layout for many years, and it was based on old-style magazine design: shorter, less-visual articles in the front of the magazine followed by a center "well," where you'd find a mix of relationships stories, celeb features, news, self-help, fashion, and beauty. But I've felt for a while that this approach is extremely dated. I don't know anyone who reads magazines from front to back, starting with quieter pieces and working their way to the big features.
