This bible study addresses the general topic of healing, the theme of the LWF Assembly in July. More particularly, it examines the issue of "Barriers that Exclude," which will be one of the subtopics discussed in the Assembly Village Groups. As you follow the bible study, you are also invited to consider some of the questions offered on this topic in the Assembly Study Book on page 171.

* How do barriers of discrimination challenge what it means to be the church?

* How does Christ's transforming power break down these barriers, as well as those based on race, ethnicity, caste, age or gender?

* What should we be doing to remove them?
