Richard B. Gaynor, formerly of the UCLA School of Medicine, has joined the Departments of Internal Medicine and Microbiology at The University of Texas (UT) Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas.

One of a number of biomedical scientists recently appointed to help UT Southwestern build its AIDS and cancer programs, he will hold the Andrea L. Simmons Distinguished Chair in Cancer Virology.
