Carlyle Venture Partners, the venture capital investment arm of Washington-based private equity firm Carlyle Group, has led a $34 million, first institutional round of financing for TrenStar Inc., a Denver provider of container management systems that use radio frequency tracking technology coupled with logistics and distribution management services.
