System Integrators has announced a new editorial system based on OS/2 and the PCs. Perhaps in an effort to get the word out before the ANPA show (possibly with the feeling that there will be few people at the show to hear it), the announcement came a few weeks prior to the June 8 opening in Las Vegas, where it will be unveiled.

The Tandem central computers and the database software remain the same as those used with the current System/55. Completely new is the architecture of configuring the PCs and intermediary file servers and connecting them to the host database for optimum performance and redundancy/reliability.
