Reykjavik, Iceland: Reykjavik offers all you ever wanted to get your groove on. Two to check out are Astro--its glowing lights behind the bar are reminiscent of the country's famous northern lights--and Club NASA, (nasa.is) which draws some of Europe's top DJs (icetourist.is).
Orkney Islands, Scotland: Fusion (fusionclub.co.uk) in Kirkwall made the shortlist for Scottish Club of the Year. It, too, draws some of the greatest DJs around.
